Meditation can improve health and in many cases prevent illness and disease
because it fine tunes the body to it’s natural rhythms. Our bodies have a built in
healing system that knows how to align us on all levels with our wholeness of
being. To include meditation into our daily lives does not need be a formal
practice. But even for 5 minutes a day, taking a deep breath and being aware of
the miracle of life can surely prove to be rewarding. As we choose to take time
out to relax and be present in the moment, we can ultimately touch the divine.
Animals are pleased when humans are in this balanced, natural, state of
reality. For to be fully present we find a soothing haven in the realm of intuition,
creativity and love.

So for an added boost, take a moment
each day to be fully alive, self forgiving
and forgiving of others. Quiet the mind
and calm the emotions. Sit with the
animals, walk in nature, and breathe
deeply. Be aware of and grateful for
the blessings with each daily task,
each bite of food, each moment of
being with another, as well as being
alone in the stillness. Be kind and
forgiving to yourself and others. Feel
free to trust in this state of unity and
harmony with yourself, with others
and the earth.
" Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds
will blow their own freshness into you while cares will drop off like autumn
leaves."
 John Muir
